Pro Tool: MaxMyPoint Hotel Award Availability Calendar & Alerts for Hyatt

While planning a recent trip to Japan, I was frustrated that Hyatt doesn’t offer a quick view to see the award availability in a calendar view which Marriott offers. I discovered MaxMyPoint from a post on FlyerTalk and the rest is history. It was super helpful while finding availability for the Andaz Tokyo and the coveted Park Hyatt Kyoto.

You can set email alerts when hotel award availability opens up for the date you’ve selected. It was handy for the Andaz Tokyo as I was able to initially book only 2 of the 3 nights I needed. The 3rd night opened up about 2 weeks prior to the stay and I was alerted 🙂
